    VIDEO: KOAN Sound - Funk Blaster (dir. Scott Pagano)

    For those of you who haven’t already heard about KOAN Sound (OWSLA), this is about as good an introduction as it gets. This is the video for the lead single off of the Bristol-based duo’s new EP, Funk Blaster. I could try to describe to you what their music sounds like, but it’s so unique that it’d be just as easy to list everything it DOESN’T sound like. It’s funky without being too acoustic. It’s heavy without being dubstep. It’s glitchy without sounding too electronic. Let’s just say that last time Alex and I caught up with Porter Robinson in NYC, these were the guys he said to “keep an eye on in 2012”.
