I’m not sure if you guys remember the last time Rusko came through Richmond over a year ago, but even then the line was around the block before the doors opened. For anyone who has ever seen Chris perform, you know there’s nothing quite like it. The guy slipped a disc while performing in Australia and had to cancel the rest of his tour. Talk about a high-energy show.
Even if Chris isn’t your cup of tea, I would recommend getting tickets just to see the the rest of the line up. BassJackers have gained a cult following since forming in 2007 for their unique spin on house music that has been picked up and spun out by the likes of Tiësto, Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Benny Benassi and more. The openers, both local to Richmond, are nothing to laugh at either. MAMMALS, a duo of teenage virtuoso electro-dubstep DJ/producers; and Beatdown the Kid, an up and coming head in the moombahton movement of the east coast—neither of which you want to pass up while they’re still spinning around town.
